A lifestyle is about all those little health-conscious choices and positive habits you learn to incorporate into your daily life. These will chip away and squeeze out the bad habits over time, until you no longer have room for them. Learning how, where and when to make them can help shape you to be your ultimate self indefinitely.

A big part of empowering your life with confidence, effervescence, and vitality involves building your foundational knowledge on healthy living, as well as arming yourself with the tools to make the choices that align with your goals. STIGMA-FREE SOCIETY

Resource for mental health awareness and support 

The Stigma-Free Society (SFS) is a B.C. based registered charity. They are committed to the promotion of mental wellness and the elimination of stigma that so often surrounds mental illness, developmental disabilities and other challenging personal circumstances. The Society’s mission is to create awareness of the various stigmas that exist in the world, develop an understanding of the challenges that numerous people face, and encourage all people to foster acceptance of themselves and others. 

SFS achieves its mission by providing support services, and act as a resource hub with direct delivery of preventative education to the community. The Society has been delivering mental health presentations in schools, businesses and community organizations since 2010. These presentations and services are currently available virtually. 

The Stigma-Free Society’s website provides a comprehensive collection of mental health resources developed for different audiences (youth, teachers and parents/guardians). 

The Society has various impacting social media channels that provide ongoing opportunities for peer support and participation in live events and presentations.

H.E.A.T ACADEMY (Human Empowerment And Transformation)

I am a faculty member and practitioner of the H.E.A.T. Academy. The H.E.A.T System is a ”digital health & wellness platform combined with life coaching, designed to unlock the human potential to full capacity in all aspects of life.”

Anyone can become a registered member for free, where you can utilize tools to help organize and quantify all your health data, efficiently and securely.

The H.E.A.T. Academy’s ‘My Health and Wellness Book’ is a tool that allows you to input, organize and track all of your health records and data online in one place, so that you can monitor your progress over time.

H.E.A.T. Academy’s ‘My Life Wheel’ allows you to rate and quantify your wellness in different health faculties, including body, mind, soul and social aspects.

Additionally, all of the data can be shared with myself, and/or any other involved health practitioners of your choice for efficient coordination of your health care.

MEDITATION

Tools and resources to improve mindfulness and health 

Meditation has been well-researched for its multitude of health and wellness benefits. It has been shown to improve stress levels, anxiety, depression, emotional health, awareness, sleep, and focus. It has also been shown to reduce pain perception and blood pressure. Meditation is an important lifestyle practice that can help balance a healthy mind, body and spirit.
