I decided to work with Naomi because I was burned out by my current routine and looking for a way to effectively make positive changes. I was skeptical at first, I was not sure what she would have to offer to change the way I was living. After our first session I felt a sense of relief. I could immediately see that Naomi had a passion for what she does, and that she genuinely wants to help people live a healthier lifestyle. There was open dialogue with unbiased opinions. In our sessions she had the ability to encourage rather than direct. She provided me with a safe environment, where I could share my personal life struggles. She guided me in making goals for my own unique personal growth. She was able to effectively help me change my behavior in all areas of my life.
Before I reached out to Naomi I was defeated and lost when it came to my nutritional health. I was in a place where I no longer cared about what I put in my body. I knew the vicious cycle I was in was unhealthy, but I felt trapped. With just one session with Naomi, I felt hopeful, I believed there was some hope for change. Naomi suggested a 7-day detox. I was fully committed to this. I was able to follow through with this suggestion. After that everything changed for me. With the support of one-on-one weekly sessions with Naomi I was able to sustain healthy eating patterns. This was a huge confident booster for me. Before I made the decision to get some help with my lifestyle, I was controlled by the thoughts of food. With the knowledge that Naomi provided me in our sessions I was able to find some freedom in my negative thinking around food. My relationship with food has completely changed because of the experience that I had with Naomi. I have been able to sustain healthy eating habits for over 6 months now. I have slimmed down, I have more energy, and I am more confident in all areas of my life.
Exercise was another key component of my struggle, I was bored. My thinking was screwed when it came to exercise. I was in a place that I felt that what I was doing was never enough, or not effective. Naomi’s knowledge of the body and how it works changed my ways of thinking. She was able to provide me with insight on different effective ways to move the body. She even took me through routines and guided me to correct my form and posture. She showed me quick and effective ways to elevate my heart rate and tone my muscles in minimal time. Naomi has an amazing way of sharing her knowledge. I understood what she was teaching me, and if I ever had questions even outside of our sessions, she was quick to help and guide me. I was able to incorporate everything she taught me into my work out routines. Naomi helped rebuild my confidence when he came to working out. I enjoy exercising again. I am in the best shape of my life. I lost body fat, gained muscle mass, and ultimately look healthier and happier than I have been in a long time.
Sleep and stress were also two things I struggled with and knew I needed to address in order to keep up with my new nutritional health, and exercise plan. Sleep has always been one thing that I was willing to sacrifice. Not only did Naomi bring awareness to me about the importance of sleep she provided me with tools and lots of suggestion on how to improve my sleep. She helped me create a nighttime routine, which has completely changed my sleeping patterns. I am more rested and have more energy. Sleeping properly is one of the key components to my new healthy lifestyle. When I am rested, I also find it easier to cope with day-to-day stressors. Having a better understanding of how stress effects my body has encouraged me to acknowledge the stress in my life as opposed to avoiding it. Naomi taught me that stress builds up, and lives in your body and can affect all areas of your life. Self care, self reflection, and sharing my thoughts and feelings with my partner are some of the suggestions I was provided that changed my life. Stress is inevitable but there is so many healthy outlets that I learned from my sessions with Naomi.
Thanks to my experience with Naomi, I was able to completely change my lifestyle. I have lost the stubborn body fat that I was trying to lose. I toned my legs and arms. My skin glows, and I feel lighter. Naomi helped me meet my physical goals, but she also helped me mentally and spiritually. The freedom I have from my negative self take, and the confidence I gained is something that I am forever grateful for. The knowledge she provides me has allowed my body and mind to perform at the optimal level. I have and will continue to recommend Naomi to all people trying to better their lifestyle.

Naomi Gilligan is a find!! I have been working with Naomi for quite a number of years and am happy to recommend her to others who hope to regain or improve their health and fitness. When I met Naomi, I was really downtrodden, out of shape, overweight and I had given up on myself physically, which negatively affected my mental health. I began seeing Naomi for active-rehab for accident injuries a while back and then COVID-19 hit and I was no longer able to see her in person. She did not let that stop her from helping her patients and we began a series of work-outs from home and I learned tips for nutrition. I also learned the importance of moving my body, and we worked out online together. This is when my life began to change.
I eventually made the decision that I was done with unhealthy eating, and I refused to give into my lethargy any longer. It was mostly from the inspiration that I received from Naomi. She reminded me that I am a role model in the mental health community, and l could truly lead by example with my progress and to help share knowledge of my new found wellness. Here I am now, many months later, and I am REALLY a new me.
I have embraced new exercise programs since ending my successful treatment with Naomi and I have lost 36 pounds to date, but more importantly, I have found a renewed sense of how to be consistent with my newly formed habits and the importance of maintaining a ‘holistic’ type of healthiness. I have been Naomi’s client for almost a year, and my experience with her has been nothing short of extraordinary. I suffered fractured femurs in both of my legs in a serious car accident, as well as sustained other injuries such as a concussion. I was having a really tough time to get back on my feet again, physically, emotionally and mentally. Naomi has helped me not only with the physical aspect of rehab, but has also given me nutritional advice, along with wellness tips to improve my sleep hygiene, as well as stress management to address my severe anxiety when it kicks in.
